About us

The Cantine D’Uva wine estate, founded in the 1940s, is located on the gentle slopes of the lower section of the Molise region, which was created in 1963 by its separation from the Abruzzi region.

The property is situated in Larino, at an average altitude of 820 feet, where the composition of the soil is highly suited to the cultivation of vines. The D’Uva family has resided in this area for more than 60 years.

Angelo D’Uva, who currently operates the estate, and oversees the production of the wines with great competence, represents the third generation of the family to engage professionally in winemaking.

Although the D’Uva family makes use of the latest technology in their winemaking, including such techniques as soft pressing, controlled fermentation and micro filtration, their most important goal is to keep producing wine according to the traditional methods of winemaking.

Currently, the winery produces about 80.000 bottles annually.
